Sunday, December 17th, 2017

Dang Nguyen, an aspiring filmmaker, revisits friends in his old college town of Boston to shoot a personal video project that’s been on hold for 4 years. But he only has 2 days, 1 crew member and no film permits to complete production.

Follow along in this radio story to find out if his dream film becomes a reality. If friends can really reconnect and whether its worth any of the hassle to make a personal project in the first place.

Recorded in June 2017 and edited in Nov 2017. Dang’s video work is available online at vimeo.com/dangnguyen

I’ve been wondering how to tell a story using just sounds and so worked on creating ‘Dang Makes A Film!’ which brings together aspects personal storytelling and documentary clips. The project was recently purchased by PRX Remix. Below is the PRX version that has a credit line after the story.
